When they were sated and satisfied sometime later Jaya said “that’s one thing I never imagined doing in my grandmother’s house.”

Walker laughed and kissed her temple “would she mind?”

“Are you kidding, she’d be horrified” Jaya said with a laugh.

He chuckled.

They still had not turned on a light and they had not moved from the living room floor.

“If it helps” he said “I didn’t plan this when I took on this job.”

“That doesn’t help at all” she said “it makes me feel like a frustrated house wife who seduced a tradesman.”

He laughed “I’m not a tradesman, not really and you didn’t seduce me. If you didn’t notice, I wanted this as much as you.”

“Phew” Jaya said with a grin. She was feigning relief but in truth she was aware the he wanted her too.

Walker chuckled again “and for the record I don’t normally sleep with my clients.”

“That’s good” she said “because I don’t normally sleep with people I employ.”

“So we’re all good then” he said kissing her throat.

“Almost” she said as her heart rate went through the roof.

“Almost?” he said.

“Well” she said “I think if we were to do it again we would definitely be there.”

He laughed before his mouth came down on hers.

It was the cold that finally caused Jaya and Walker to drag themselves off the living room floor but they did not go far. Jaya wrapped herself in a robe and went from room to room to close all the windows before slipping into the single bed she had been using, next to Walker. It was a tight fit but it was the only bed left in the house and at the rate they were getting to know each other, she knew the lack of space probably would not matter anyway.

It was late that night when Jaya’s conscience got the better of her. She was lying close to Walker, which in a single bed was the only place she could lay, “do you need to go home?” she said.

“Trying to get rid of me?” he teased, giving her a quick kiss.

“No” she said and hugged him to prove it “I just wondered if your mum was waiting for you to come home.”

“No” he said wrapping his arms around her “my sister is with her tonight so I don’t have to be anywhere.”

“I’m glad” she said as her arms tightened.

“Me too” he said and moving back his mouth came down on hers and soon they set off on a voyage of sensual discovery once more.
