The idea for this blog came about, after the prompting of a friend, as a way to share my writing with others and it was not until I thought about creating it that I realised just how much I write. Recently I have being writing fanfic and had thought that that was the start of this particular journey for me. However in considering what I would put on a blog, were I to start one, I realised I have been using writing to convey my thoughts for as long as I can remember. At different times I have used writing to complain, to praise, to explain, to describe, to learn, to teach, and to express myself creatively. So I find I have being following a path I didn't even know existed.
In deciding on a name for this blog I came across a couple of quotes about writing that made sense to me,
Writing is a product of silence.
I have to agree with this, but I don't think it means you must live in silence, rather as the next quote says,
If you are a writer you locate yourself behind a wall of silence and no matter what you are doing, driving a car or walking or doing housework you can still be writing, because you have that space.

I am certainly guilty of doing this.
Therefore everthing contained here in, is my product of silence.
