Jaya was surprised but not displeased. She closed her eyes,
and opened her mouth as a shiver passed through her.
For several minutes they kissed without touching other than
with their mouths. When the need for air forced them apart Jaya sighed. “Wow.”
She saw the gleam of his teeth as he smiled “just what I was
going to say.”
She laughed and then asked “so if you were going to do it
anyway, why did you say it was a shame?”
“Because I knew even before I did it that once wasn’t going
to be enough. That I would want to do it again” and his voice dropping lower he
added “can we do it again?”
Jaya took a deep breath. She would love to kiss him again
but first she needed some facts. “We can” she said “but I need some details
first. Who are you?”
He sat back. “Well you already know about my job and why I’m
here. For the rest, I’m thirty five and single. I haven’t been in a
relationship for the last year. I’ve never been married and I have no kids. I
have one sister, she lives here too. I own an apartment in the city that is rented
out. I make a reasonable living but it was better when I lived in town.”
Jaya laughed “I didn’t mean you had to tell me everything.”
“I’d rather get it all out in the open” he said and she
could tell her was smiling. “Your turn” he finished.
She laughed again “okay I’m thirty three. I’m a set
designer. I have two sisters both of whom are married with kids. I have neither
a husband nor kids and I have not been in a relationship for the last six
months.”
“So we’re both free” he said.
“So it seems” she said and even though she could no longer
see him in detail she could see his form bending towards her and she was not
surprised when his lips met hers. This time the kiss was heated from the
beginning and before long they were tearing each other’s clothes off.
I like this part!
